“Intuitive”

“Intuitive” is a beautiful 28” x 22” original painting created by allowing the paint to fall where it falls. In early 2020 I joined a workshop down in Dunedin, Florida called “Intuitive Painting.” The definition of Intuitive is “using or based on what one feels to be true even without conscious reasoning; instinctive.” The instructor first had us apply a warm color layer, then cool colored layer followed by a black/white layer. The idea was to create multiple layers of colors, textures and designs then see what you create. To create this painting I used acrylic paint, fluid acrylic paint, acrylic ink and semi-gloss poly-acrylic.
